What it is
Piston filler in titanium alloy and acrylic, notable for shipping with a genuine German Bock nib as a factory option rather than the house steel nib.

For and against
- Factory Bock nib option removes the QC lottery
- Titanium alloy body
- Piston fill, ~145mm capped
- Costs roughly double the P20
- House-nib version gives up the main advantage
Worth the premium over the P20 specifically if you take the Bock nib version.

Interesting. Asvine V200 and P36 have been super reliable for me and a few colleagues. What ink are you using? And how do you clean them? r/fountainpens · 11 pts · thread
P36 would be nice. I would also recommend an Asvine P136. I have two (M and EF) and they are very smooth and comfortable to write with. Well balanced and a good weight without feeling heavy. r/fountainpens · 4 pts · thread
Is the V200 functionally different than the P36, or just flat-top versus cigar shape? I do slightly prefer the look of the V200, but I never grabbed one because I've already got the P36 and am happy with it. r/fountainpens · 2 pts · thread
I have both. I use my P36 on a regular basis,it's a great pen. r/fountainpens · 2 pts · thread
I got a c2000 in the blue oasis colour and was genuinely shocked how nice it was for the price, really nice big soft nib and feels really decent quality all around. Only tiny thing i didnt like so much was the clip but thats just a point of personal preference!! I also picked up an Asvine P36 and that is also extremely good value for money, been really impressed with Asvine so far for a cheaper option. r/fountainpens · 2 pts · thread
The J16 is available in 3 ebonites or 2 titaniums (smooth, brushed). The P36s are acrylics. This is the main difference, other than the nibs. I have both Ti and ebonite J16 and a P36, and prefer the J16s due to the material. r/fountainpens · 2 pts · thread
