What it is
Vintage-styled brass and resin torpedo-shaped piston filler. The brass makes it markedly heavier than the P20 it otherwise resembles in concept.

For and against
- Solid brass gives it real presence and it patinas
- Piston filling
- Retro proportions
- Heavy — a wrist-tiring pen for long writing
- Brass tarnishes if you'd rather it didn't
A looks-first piston filler; fine writer, but the weight decides whether you keep it.
What owners say
Do you like a heavier vac filler or a lighter piston filler? That's literally what it comes down to Quite frankly, the P30 has ended up being my favorite Asvine. The shape, styling and feel are awesome. The P20 is a looker. I haven't seen a photo yet that does it justice but it comes in 3rd for the feel category for me. r/fountainpens · 5 pts · thread
It’s earlier than the V200 and fairly heavy in comparison. Cap diameter is the same, the V200 is a few millimeters longer, and the clip is secured in the same way, so other than the metal overlay that makes it heavier than the V200’s titanium trim, they are very much the same. It never got the love the P30, V126, and V200 did. Seems like this stealth version may be unavailable now. r/fountainpens · 2 pts · thread
Gorgeous collection. I've been very slowly building my Asvine collection too. Fave is the p30. I want to like the v200, but metal on metal cap to body connection really sets my teeth on edge, and the nib is not as nice as the others (putting this down to luck of the draw) r/fountainpens · 1 pts · thread
