For —
  • Ebonite feed — rare below several hundred dollars — and credited with the flow and lack of hard starts
  • Huge piston capacity, months on a fill
  • Excellent out-of-box writing reported
  • Nibs interchange with the Asvine V800
  • The ink-window band is a genuinely original piece of design
  • Large piston capacity
  • 146mm / ~26g — comfortable full-size proportions
  • Titanium editions available with Bock 18k nib option
Against —
  • Clip is very stiff to lift
  • Grip flange slightly sharp
  • Too long and heavy posted for most hands
  • Piston disassembly needs a dedicated wrench
  • No branding on the cap at all
  • House nib is the usual lottery
  • Resin versions feel their price next to the titanium ones
