For
  • Repeatedly named for an unusually good stock nib
  • Very light for a metal pen
  • Eyedropper capacity
  • Around $20
  • Attractive acrylics for the money
  • Comfortable full-size dimensions, light
  • Cheap route to the Momento Zero look
  • Fit and finish specifically praised in FPN review
  • Nib reported to write well out of the box
  • Classic proportions
Against
  • Eyedropper handling
  • Plain looks next to the demonstrators
  • Converter fill
  • Number implies a Pelikan lineage it has nothing to do with
  • Converter fill, not piston, despite the flagship-sounding name
  • Model number invites a Pelikan comparison it doesn't deliver
