For and against
- Triangular body is comfortable and stops the pen rolling
- Piston filling around $40
- Lots of transparent colourways
- Triangular section forces a grip that not everyone wants
- Nib lottery
A well-liked piston filler whose triangular section is either the reason you buy it or the reason you don't.
What owners say
Thank you. I fit it in a Majohn v60 and it is OK. Railroading only when speeding also. r/fountainpens · 3 pts · thread
I have no doubt that the Pilot nib is wonderful, they usually are. But is there a need to replace the Moonman V60 nib? The reviews I heard seems to praise it for being a smooth wet writer. r/fountainpens · 1 pts · thread
I just received one of those 3-packs. I’m hoping I call wiggle the 1.1mm nib out of its housing and into the V60. My V60 nib/feed seems glued in, immovable, so I hope to wiggle that one out and swap in the 1.1. Great choice for a gift/starter pen! r/fountainpens · 1 pts · thread
V60 isn’t very old at all, it was introduced in October 2024. I have the demo version—seems to be good quality, no problems at all. r/fountainpens · 0 pts · thread
