What owners say

Got my Majohn B32 in, and the first thing that struck me when I picked it up is how much it felt like a Parker 45. I had a Moonman 80, a Parker 45 clone, handy, so used it in the pic. But in the hand, this new pen feels so much like the 45 it's insane. Quality is excellent, smooth brass piston, great looks, another winner from Majohn! r/fountainpens · 12 pts · thread
They really are, I've always liked the Parker 45, and the Moonman (now Majohn) 80 is a faithful reproduction. I expected a different pen with the B32, but I am not disappointed with what I got. r/fountainpens · 3 pts · thread
Beautiful Pen, what's the filling mech? love the midnight blue, or any shade of blue that depending on the lighting is either super bright or even bordering on silver or nearly black or completely black in darkness, the midnight blue color that was very popular on 80's and 90's Japanese cars is a beautiful example of this. r/fountainpens · 2 pts · thread
You're right that it should work out of the box, especially at that price point. It may not be a super expensive pen, but it's not cheap, either! And it wasn't that long ago that a lot of the big pen brands that are selling around 80 dollars were also around 40. I still consider 40 to be high enough that you should be getting a pretty great pen. r/fountainpens · 1 pts · thread
Your experience is different from mine. 3 of my 4 kakunos were scratchy, but 80% of my Chinese nibs have been wonderful. After the initial hype wore off, I felt this was was a little scratchy at certain angles so I worked on the nib a bit and now I love it. Smooth pencil feedback in all directions now. r/fountainpens · 1 pts · thread
