The lightweight #8 nib giant that shook the fountain pen world
Not enough independent discussion to score this one honestly — catalogue data only.
What it is
The pen that proved Jinhao could make a genuine #8 nib oversize pen that writes effortlessly for hours without arm strain.
A landmark redesign that changed Chinese fountain pen perception. Replaced the 50g brass barrel of the classic 159 with lightweight (26g) acrylic resin and introduced Jinhao's massive in-house #8 two-tone steel nib. Matches the girth and presence of the Montblanc 149 without the hand-fatiguing weight.
