What it is

A slimmer metal pen than the X450/X750, sold in matte black, silver textured and printed 'mock celluloid' finishes. Knurled metal section that does not taper.

Original MSRP: $150 This pen: $8–$10 (2016)

FPN (2016) calls it a Parker Sonnet clone, with a knurled metal section; The Mind Palace lists it as a Duofold clone instead, so treat the homage as medium confidence.

For and against

  • Sonnet-like look for little money
  • Knurled metal grip
  • Smooth nib out of the box for many owners
  • Stock nib runs broad
  • '18KGP' stamp on a steel nib
  • Printed celluloid pattern can be misaligned
  • Hard to find new now

A decent cheap Sonnet lookalike from the mid-2010s; now mostly found second-hand.
