I love me an Asvine appreciation post! Congrats on the triplets! (I’ve got the V126 in frosted clear, like you, as well as a P20 and C80. They’re such great pens.) r/fountainpens · 12 pts · thread
I’d throw is a vote for Asvine, I have the C80 in a few nib sizes and they’re smooth. 👌 r/fountainpens · 6 pts · thread
Regarding the C80 skipping at the top of curves, perhaps check your angle to ensure even contact across the entire nib? Does the issue appear when doing straight strokes at the same angle as at the top of the curve? r/fountainpens · 5 pts · thread
Oh wow, that material is gorgeous ✨ I have really enjoyed Asvine's #8 stub on my C80, but I might have to upgrade to the C2000. r/fountainpens · 4 pts · thread
I really wanted a red resin pen, even better if it's cracked ice resin, but all the Hongdian cracked ice red pens are sold out. I was wishing the Year of the Horse pen would be red. I like the Asvine v126, but it's not the kind of red pen I was dreaming of. Af least I got a Red Agate c80 before it sold out, too. r/fountainpens · 3 pts · thread
I have two C80 and they are both fantastic. Honestly, they are an absolute steal. If it was labeled Pilot or Lamy it would be $200+. I have trouble justifying some other high end pens after buying these. r/fountainpens · 3 pts · thread
