Metal-bodied pens at $10-25, built around the Forest series (1850/1851/1861) — matte black or patterned barrels, a metal case in the box, and a bent-nib option that made the range popular for sketching.

Reputation
The most consistent of the cheap Chinese brands. A buying guide puts its out-of-box success above 98% against Jinhao's 85%, and the 1851 is repeatedly called the best Chinese pen under $25. Related to Asvine — the two share components, and the same person is reported behind both — which is why the shops that carry one usually carry the other.
